Job Description

HVAC Estimator is responsible for organizing and coordinating quality estimates in order to secure profitable mechanical construction projects to meet the company plan and objectives.  Responsibilities include providing complete and timely three trade cost estimates, including take-off, labor productivity adjustments as well as risk/opportunity assessment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare complete Labor, Material & Burden cost estimates – 3 trades
• Recommend labor productivity adjustments
• Review specs for risks & opportunity analysis
• Vendor & subcontractor quotes with clear scope qualifications
• Jobsite visits to compare estimate with actual installation
• Proposal generation including scope of work, clarifications and exclusions
• Develop customer relationships

Requirements:

• 3-5 years broad based and progressive estimating experience
• Advanced level of organization and exceptional attention to detail
• Shop & field installation knowledge
• Strong multi-tasking and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees
• Professional demeanor 
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Bachelors degree preferred
